Series: When the Masjid Feels Like a Hug
š Episode 13: I Am Not AloneāEven When It Feels Like I Am.
āThere were moments I thought I had no one⦠but I always had Allah.ā
There were nights I laid awake,
phone silent,
no one checking in,
and I wondered if anyone would notice if I disappeared.
There were afternoons I sat in a cafƩ,
or walked through a crowd,
feeling invisible.
Surroundedābut not seen.
Loneliness isnāt always about being alone.
Itās about not feeling held.
---
šÆ And Then I Stepped Into the Masjid
No applause.
No greetings.
No big moment.
JustĀ AllahĀ andĀ I.
And that was enough.
Because suddenly, I didnāt feel so small.
Didnāt feel so forgotten.
The stillness whispered:
āI see you.ā
āYou were never by yourself.ā
---
š Sometimes, Allah Becomes the Most Visible in Silence
When I donāt have people to talk to,
I talk to Allah more.
When no one checks on me,
I feel the need to check in with my own soulāand withĀ Allah.
And in that loneliness,
something sacred happens.
I stop performing.
I stop pleasing.
I just⦠ābecome realā withĀ Allah.
And that kind of nearness?
Itās unmatched.
---
šæ Allah Is EnoughāEven When Itās Just Allah
I wonāt deny that I still long for company sometimes.
But I no longer believe Iām lacking.
Because the most profound companionship Iāve ever known
happened when there was no one around but Allah.
And that taught me:
My solitude is not empty.
It is āfullāāof mercy, of peace, of Allahās presence.

āMy Faith Isnāt Loud, But Itās Aliveā
A gentle truth: I donāt always have words to explain what I believe, but I feel it moving quietly in everything I do.
